I am 35 year old with a body weight of more than 125 pounds. I really want to shed off my body weight as unwanted fats are deposited under my belly and thighs.
My family doctor has advised me to opt for pomegranate juice in order to lose body weight. Can some one tell me how it tastes like and how many days it start showing effect and reduce my body weight.

First of all you need to be self determined and keep patience if looking to reduce you weight. This a fact that after taking medicines or diet pills, body weight will not vanish overnight, as it take atleast 2-3 months to get rid of unwanted fats from the body.
Pomegranate juice is a effective step which plays a vital role in reducing body weight. It generally burns the fats deposited in the body parts especially under belly and thighs, eventually providing perfect shape to the body. Pomegranate juice contains less quantity of sweeteners, and is rich in minerals and vitamins, helps in reducing body weight. Antioxidants present in pomegranate juice helps in cutting down the fats from the body part.
I also opted for pomegranate juice and lost 20 pounds in 3 months. I started this process with self determination and kept myself away from junk food or unhealthy food products. After 3 months I was surprised after looking at my body figure
I had pomegranates before! I’m not really sure how long it will take for it to change your weight because everyone is different. It has a sweet juicy pulp inside. Inside the pulp is a small hard white seed.
What are pomegranates good for? Researchers report that they are rich in antioxidants that can keep bad LDL cholesterol from oxidizing (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, May 2000). This degradation of LDL seems to be an initial step in the development of atherosclerosis. In addition, pomegranate juice, like aspirin, can help keep blood platelets from clumping together to form unwanted clots.
Does this make any difference clinically? More recent research has found that eight ounces of pomegranate juice daily for three months improved the amount of oxygen getting to the heart muscle of patients with coronary heart disease (American Journal of the College of Cardiology, Sept. 2005). Other researchers report that long-term consumption of pomegranate juice may help combat erectile dysfunction (Journal of Urology, July 2005).
Investigators are also excited about the possibility that pomegranate compounds might prevent prostate cancer or slow its growth. In mice, treatment with pomegranate extract delayed the development of tumors and improved survival (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Sept. 26, 2005). Other research reports suggest that pomegranate juice might help reduce the risk of breast cancer.
